An independent, free guide to official Universal Credit and benefit contact details, written in plain English. We are not the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), GOV.UK or any government body, and we are not linked to or endorsed by them. We cannot see, change or make decisions on your claim.

Accuracy

We check numbers, opening hours and amounts against official sources and show the date we last checked each page. Government details can change at any time, so always confirm important information on GOV.UK or with DWP before acting on it. The site is general information, not legal or financial advice.

No charges, no premium numbers

We do not charge for anything and we never list premium-rate or call-connection numbers. Official DWP lines on this site start 0800 or 0808 and are free, unless we say otherwise (for example 0300 tribunal lines, which cost the same as a normal landline call).

We do not ask for personal details and have no forms. See our privacy notice.
